Jaap & Jeff Lanting | Hoogeveen (Holland)

Tuesday morning 29th december we went to the Lantings in
Hoogeveen, Holland. Jaap & Jeff have a touring bus company, 44 busses
and about 90 employees, so a "nice, little...big company".
We were impressed of their bus-company...and we still haven't seen
their bikes and parts...euhhh...yet...
After a little coffee-chat, we visit the workshop...and again
we put our mouth wiiiiiiiiide open by the nice stuff they collected !
Jaap bought several years ago his old KTM 175cc ISDT bike of Dalton 1973...
not far from his home...
Now he's looking forward to restaurate the KTM.
(He has already started his project, and hopes to finish it
before summer 2010)
They also recovered a ISDT bike KTM 250cc of Camerino 1974.

After several hours -time was flying- we jump in the Van back home...
very satisfied we saw once again great ISDT stuff !

and Arno Dreezen (KTM Sachs 125cc)

Some "Shell" grease on the chain ??
Mention the Shell stickers on the jacket and
"the greasepot"...

Last worn jacket, still with the Dutch sand on it

ISDT jacket Dalton 1973 - Size: S !!!

The KTM like Jaap found it, still some work, but when finished:
a real bjautie!!

The 175cc with the good old KONI's on the rear,
they belongs to the KTM 250cc of Camerino !

The special ISDT stickers still on the KTM...
they lightened up when you put a flashlight on it

Old fashion never dies !!

Now you wonder: hmmmmm, Dutch boops on Classic Enduro ??
"Nieuwe REVU" was at the 70's a very well known
paparazzi magazine, not only boops where in it...
but they did also a ISDT report of
the Six Days on the Isle of Man 1975 !!! Njam, njam !

At the left Jan Broese and Hein van Olst preparing some SWM
reserve exhaust systems.
At the right you can see Jaap after his crash with the bus...

Here you can see an "illegal fuelstop", the SWM of Jaap
is filled up by Dutch Ben Van Erp, at the right you see
Hein van Olst, the pre-rider of the Dutch Vase team.
When you are cought by the Marshalls doing an illegal fuel-stop
= disqualification...
